Flagman Safety Training

This practical training course prepares flagmen to manage vehicle and pedestrian movement safely in construction, roadwork, and industrial work areas. It covers the flagman’s responsibilities, legal and site-safety requirements, traffic-control equipment, standard hand signals, communication methods, hazard identification, and emergency procedures. Learners will practise planning safe control points, maintaining clear communication with drivers and supervisors, and responding appropriately to changing site conditions. By the end of the course, participants will be able to carry out flagman duties confidently while protecting themselves, workers, and the public.
