Hazard Identification

This practical occupational health and safety course teaches learners how to identify workplace hazards before they cause injuries, illness, damage, or disruption. It covers common physical, chemical, biological, ergonomic, electrical, fire, and psychosocial hazards across a range of work environments. Learners will practise systematic inspections, assess who may be harmed, record findings, apply the hierarchy of controls, and report hazards clearly. By the end of the course, participants will be able to contribute to safer daily work practices and support effective workplace risk management.
